Privacy Policy Social Networks

1. Information for the User

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

ROCADA S.L. will be responsible for processing the personal data of those PERSONS who have created a profile on any of its social networks, and such data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of April 27 (GDPR), Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5 (LOPDGDD), and the Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Law (LSSI), providing the following processing information:

Why do we process your personal data?

Purpose of processing: to maintain a relationship between the USER and ROCADA S.L. (hereinafter the DATA CONTROLLER), which may include the following operations:

  • Handling requests and inquiries made to the data controller
  • Informing about activities and events organized by the data controller
  • Informing about products or services offered by the data controller
  • Interacting through official profiles

When the DATA CONTROLLER collects and processes personal data through its social networks, USERS will be informed about the purpose of the data collection, as well as their rights in relation to their personal data. Personal data will be used solely for the stated purposes and will be kept securely.

Legal Basis for Processing: the explicit consent granted by the USER for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes (Article 6.1.a GDPR).

Furthermore, the USER can access the privacy policies of the social network itself at any time, as well as configure their profile to ensure their privacy.

How long will we keep your personal data?

Data retention criteria: data will be retained as long as the USER does not revoke the consent given, as indicated in this privacy policy.

Who do we share your personal data with?

Data communication: the information provided by the USER through the DATA CONTROLLER’s social networks, including their personal data, may be published, always depending on the services used by the USER, and may therefore be made publicly available to other third-party users of the social networks. From the profile of each social network, the USER can configure what information they want to make public in each case, view granted permissions, delete or deactivate them, like any third-party application no longer wished to be used.

However, no communication of personal data to third parties outside the social network is planned unless, if essential for the development and execution of the processing purposes, to our communications-related service providers, with whom the DATA CONTROLLER has signed the confidentiality and data processing agreements required by current privacy regulations.

What are your rights?

Rights available to the USER: these can only be satisfied in relation to information under the control of the DATA CONTROLLER.

  • Right to withdraw consent at any time.
  • Right to access, rectify, port and delete your data, and to restrict or object to its processing.
  • Right to file a complaint with the control authority (www.aepd.es) if you consider that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

2. Use of the Profile

The DATA CONTROLLER will carry out the following actions:

  • Access to public profile information.
  • Publication on the USER’s profile of any information already published on the DATA CONTROLLER’s social network.
  • Sending personal and individual messages through the social network channels.
  • Status updates that will be published on the USER’s profile.

The USER can always control their connections, remove content that no longer interests them, and restrict with whom they share their connections; to do this, they must access their settings where they will find different configuration options in relation to the level of privacy of the user profile on the social network.

3. Publications

The purpose of social networks is to give visibility to and disseminate the activities carried out by the DATA CONTROLLER. These tools store personal data on the servers of the respective services and are governed by their own privacy policy.

Once the USER becomes a follower or has joined the DATA CONTROLLER’s social network, they may publish comments, links, images, photographs or any other type of multimedia content supported by it. The USER must, in all cases, be the owner of the published content, hold copyright and intellectual property rights, or have the consent of the affected third parties.

Any publication on the social network, whether text, graphics, photographs, videos, etc., that violates or is likely to violate morality, ethics, good taste or decorum, and/or that infringes, violates or breaches intellectual or industrial property rights, the right to one’s image or the Law, is expressly prohibited. Offensive, defamatory, illegal or inappropriate comments or content will not be tolerated on the company’s profiles. The Company reserves the right to delete such comments or content and block responsible users.

In these cases, the DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to immediately remove content, without prior notice, and may request the permanent blocking of the USER.

The DATA CONTROLLER will not be responsible for content freely published by the USER.

The USER must bear in mind that their publications will be known to other users, so they are primarily responsible for their own privacy.

Images that may be published on the social network will not be stored in any file by the DATA CONTROLLER, but will remain on the social network.

4. Data of Minors or Persons with Special Abilities

It is recommended to review and read the terms of use and privacy policy of each social network at the time of registration, taking into account the different age requirements for doing so.

Likewise, the DATA CONTROLLER will be expressly exempt from any liability that may arise from the use of social networks by minors or persons with special abilities, whose access should be carried out under the supervision and control of their legal representatives.

The DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will be communicated through our social network profiles and/or our website.
